What's New?

School Messenger will notify parent(s)/guardian(s) when their child/children reach a balance of $5.00 or less with Child Nutrition.  You can adjust how you wish to receive these notifications by following the steps below:

  1. Go to wcs.k12.va.us
  2. Scroll your mouse over the Parent tab at the top of the screen and select PowerSchool Parent and Student Portal.
  3. In the information paragraph select “Parent and Student Portal”.
  4. Enter your username and password and select “Sign In”
  5. Please contact your Child’s school to create an account if you have not done so already.
  6. Once you have logged in select,” School Messenger” on the left of the website.
  7. In the top left corner of the screen select the menu icon and then select preferences.
  8. From here you can adjust how you receive notifications from Food Service as well as other departments.
